Colour Pop cosmetics are affordable and much pigmented. Lately, I’ve ordered a lot of stuff from their website. Their Lippie Stix and Eyeshadows are only $5. Who doesn’t love affordable makeup right? Some beauty gurus are also talking about Colour Pop cosmetics in their videos.
Colour Pop Lippie Stix
Recently I purchased Sundays in Silverlake Lippie Stix set ($30). The Colourpop Sundays in Silverlake Lippie Stix Set comes housed in a gorgeous palm tree decorated sliding drawer gift box. The Lippie Stix formula is a twist-up lipstick that comes in a variety of finishes with most of the finishes designed to have richer coverage.
- Ace (Light warm pink/Cream finish)
- Parker (Mid-tone warm nude/ Matte finish)
- Chel-La (Mid-tone bright peachy coral/ Cream finish)
- Thirsty (Cool-toned berry pink/ Satin finish)
- Pasties (Bright cool-toned magenta/ Hyper Glossy finish)
- Cougar (Bright pinky-red/ Matte finish)
I just wish they would sell these colors individually.
Super Shock Shadows
There are over hundreds of different shades! The packaging is very pop 60’s: a round white plastic jar. The texture is very special, it’s almost impossible to describe. The texture of these is like a cool mousse type texture. The shadows have absolutely no fall out, or at least I haven’t experienced any. The brand does recommend you to use your finger tip to get the most pigmentation. I’m not a fan of the finger application. I tried several brushes and for me firm synthetic brushes worked well. It’s surprising how the colors don’t move all day. They don’t crease at all! I always apply a primer because I have quite oily eyelids but if you have a dry skin, I don’t think it’s really necessary.
They have so many unique shades and the price point is great.
Note: You can also buy Blushes, Bronzers and Highighter on their website.
