ColourPop Hi-Maintenance Palette Review

I’m really impressed with the ColourPop Hi-Maintenance palette. I picked up one of the pre-made palette. They are also sold individually. There are 3 pre-made palettes of 4 shadows each which cost $18. Hi-Maintenance is a mix of metallic, satin and matte shadows.

The Hi-Maintenance Palette features four Pressed Powder Shadows that can easily be removed from the palette and popped into a Z-Palette. The palette itself is made of a sturdy cardboard that features a magnetic closure and a magnetized bottom to securely hold the Pressed Powder Shadows in place.

Just in Time: Satin soft gold

High Strung: Metallic dusty rose

Get Out: Matte cool cranberry

Cute Alert: Matte Deep Burgundy

If you’ve been debating about getting this pallet or not, do it! You won’t regret it. You can purchase it from

Huda Beauty Liquid Matte

Today I’m going to be talking about Huda Beauty liquid lipstick. I only purchased one shade, just to see if it’s worth it. Let me tell you it’s worth every penny. The pigmentation of this lipstick is high and the shades are not sticky. They have 16 shades.

I love the packaging. You can see the entire tube from the external box. The box slides out so you can get the tube. The bottle is frosted plastic and the wand applicator is actually really nice, it’s a typical applicator that you see on most liquid lipsticks but it makes it easy to apply.

The price point for this product is spot on and what I would expect to pay for a liquid lipstick. This lipstick has a coconut/vanilla scent to it. If you are not a fan of coconut, this probably isn’t for you. I had the product on for about 6 hours. The color stayed throughout.

definitely recommend these liquid lipsticks and will be picking up some more shades from the collection. You can purchase the liquid lipsticks from website for $20 USD each.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kits

Absolutely in love with the ABH glow kits. There are two kits available depending on the type of tone you prefer: That Glow (warm) and Gleam (cool). The powders are multipurpose and can be used on the face, eyes or body.

Let me start off by saying that the packaging is gorgeous. The kits are available on, Sephora and Ulta for $40 each. The colors are very smooth and easy to blend. Both kits come in a magnetized cardboard box and the pans in each kit are removable.

That Glow has warm gold tones with the following shades:

Sunburst is a pale yellow gold shimmer

Golden Bronze is a warm coppery golden bronze shimmer

Bubbly is shimmering soft champagne

Dripping in Gold is a shimmering champagne gold

Gleam has cool and neutral shimmers:

Hard Candy looks like a peachy coral in the pan, but it goes on an almost duo-chrome cool pink pearl

Mimosa is a shimmering light peach

Starburst is a shimmering pale frosted pink

Crushed Pearl is shimmering pale champagne

So, what do you think? Will you be getting these palettes?

Best Drugstore Foundation & Mascara

You love makeup? But don’t want to spend too much money? There are so many drugstore products you can purchase within a reasonable price. Today I will be talking about my favorite drugstore foundation & mascara on this blog:

L’oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation:

It’s a non-cakey, long-lasting, matte-but-not-flat foundation. I don’t usually get on with a lot of the cheaper foundations, but the L’oreal Paris Infallible Matte applied and blended beautifully on me and left my skin looking perfected, but not masked over. It’s only $12.99 and it’s OIL Free! L’Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation is packaged in a 1.0fl oz tube with a screw cap and squeeze tube applicator. The outside of the packaging has a see through section to display the foundation’s color.

L’Oreal Telescopic Intense Looking Lengthening Mascara:

I’m wearing L’oreal Telescopic Mascara in the above picture.

I’m in love with this product. L’Oreal Telescopic enhances your lashes with intense length and lash by lash separation. The thin wand allows the lashes to be fully and properly grasped and pulled, to make the lashes even longer and thicker. You can get to the tiny little baby hairs in the corners of your eyes using the thin wand, to make your lashes look even better. I’ve tried tons of lengthening mascaras, but I think this one gives the most definition to my lashes. The price for this mascara is $10.49. Check it out ladies! You won’t regret it.

Colour Pop Lippie Stix and Eyeshadow Review

Colour Pop cosmetics are affordable and much pigmented. Lately, I’ve ordered a lot of stuff from their website. Their Lippie Stix and Eyeshadows are only $5. Who doesn’t love affordable makeup right? Some beauty gurus are also talking about Colour Pop cosmetics in their videos.

I just wish they would sell these colors individually.

Super Shock Shadows

There are over hundreds of different shades! The packaging is very pop 60’s: a round white plastic jar. The texture is very special, it’s almost impossible to describe. The texture of these is like a cool mousse type texture. The shadows have absolutely no fall out, or at least I haven’t experienced any. The brand does recommend you to use your finger tip to get the most pigmentation. I’m not a fan of the finger application. I tried several brushes and for me firm synthetic brushes worked well. It’s surprising how the colors don’t move all day. They don’t crease at all! I always apply a primer because I have quite oily eyelids but if you have a dry skin, I don’t think it’s really necessary.

They have so many unique shades and the price point is great.

Note: You can also buy Blushes, Bronzers and Highighter on their website.

Becca x Jaclyn Hill – Champagne Pop

As we all know Becca teamed up with Jaclyn Hill, I wanted to see what the hype is about. So I finally got the highlighter Champagne Pop and let me tell you Oh My God, I’m in love with this highlighter. Champagne Pop is described as a “soft white gold with pinky peachy undertones”, it’s a pinch lighter than their beloved “Opal” shade and warmer than their cooler toned highlighter “Moonstone”. I personally think it’s great for every skin tone!

It’s $38.00 and let me tell you it’s worth every penny. Every beauty guru is talking about it. This highlighter is soft and easily blendable and very high quality. Definitely check it out everyone.
